Delivery and Unloading Policy

Due to the specialized nature of mini excavator deliveries, AHM provides two professional delivery service options to ensure safe transport of your equipment to your location.

IMPORTANT NOTICE REGARDING UNLOADING SERVICE

If you have purchased our unloading service, do not arrange unloading on your own. If there are any issues during delivery, contact us immediately at support@ahmcorp.com or call +1 (949) 694-4991.

We will work directly with the freight forwarder and carrier to resolve any unloading issues. Only follow our instructions. Ignore any messages from the driver, carrier, or freight forwarder unless they come from us.

If you choose to handle unloading yourself without consulting us, we will not cover any additional costs, including fees paid to third parties for unloading services. If the delay causes vehicle detention charges, you will be responsible for those fees.

Delivery Options

Option 1: Flatbed with Forklift Limited Delivery

For situations where standard LTL carriers cannot safely deliver your machine, we offer a specialized flatbed with forklift delivery service:

  1. Pre-Delivery Verification
    • Our transportation team will verify with the carrier that your address can be serviced
    • Upon confirmation, your order will ship as a standard LTL shipment
  2. Delivery Scheduling
    • The carrier will contact you when your shipment arrives at the final delivery hub
    • Available delivery windows: Monday through Friday, 8:00 AM to 5:00 PM
    • Typical delivery windows are 2-4 hours
  3. Unloading Process
    • Your shipment will be loaded via forklift onto the delivery flatbed at the shipping hub
    • Upon arrival, the driver will use the forklift to unload your shipment
    • The crate will be safely placed on the ground in your driveway
    • Important: The carrier will not transport the shipment into your building

Option 2: Final Mile Delivery Service

Our premium delivery solution for cases where standard LTL carriers cannot safely deliver your freight:

  1. Coordination Process
    • Our transportation team will coordinate with a local final mile/flatbed tow truck delivery company
    • We will contact you directly to schedule delivery at your preferred time
  2. Loading and Transport
    • The final mile carrier will collect your equipment from the local LTL terminal
    • Your machine will be loaded by forklift and properly secured for safe transport
  3. Delivery Service
    • The driver will call you with an ETA when departing
    • Please ensure your driveway is clear of vehicles for safe delivery
    • The carrier will tilt and lower your freight as close to your building as safely possible

Important Notes

  • All delivery services are designed to ensure safe handling of your equipment
  • The delivery location must be accessible to heavy equipment
  • Delivery time and date will be coordinated to accommodate your schedule
  • Our transportation team will guide you through the entire process
  • If you fail to select a delivery time slot offered by the shipping company/driver, and the package is returned to AHM, you will be charged an additional 10% fee to make a second delivery.

Need more details on our shipping policy?

We offer FREE ground shipping to the lower 48 states with a delivery window of 7-14 days. However, please note that unloading service is not included. Orders for heavy equipment like excavators or skid-steer loaders require a forklift for unloading. If you need unloading assistance, you can select the Unloading Service option during checkout for an additional fee of approximately $500.
