What is the option to pay in installments on Shop Pay?

When checking out with Shop Pay, you now have the option to pay now or later. Paying in installments on Shop Pay allows you to split your purchase amount into 4 equal, biweekly installment payments—with 0% interest, no hidden or late fees, and no impact on your credit score.* In some instances, your first payment is due when you make your purchase; otherwise, your first payment is due 2 weeks after your purchase.

What payment methods are accepted for Shop Pay Installments?

The Shop Pay Installments accepts payments made through both debit and credit cards.

Can I use Shop Pay Installments if I’m an international customer?

Shop Pay Installments is only available for customers with a US billing address within the US and a US mobile phone number. International customers with non-US billing addresses are unable to create an account with Shop Pay Installments.

What products are not eligible for purchase?

Installments is not available on purchases of gift cards. If you are purchasing gift cards along with Shop Pay Installments eligible products, you will need to place two separate orders.

What if I can't pay an installment?

There are no late fees for customers who miss a scheduled payment and Affirm will provide full customer service to customers who use Shop Pay Installments. Please contact Affirm support at shop.affirm.com/help for additional assistance.

What happens if I return a purchase made through with Shop Pay Installments?

In the event of a refund, the refunded amount will be credited back to your original payment method within
3-10 business days, and your balance will be adjusted accordingly.

If the refunded amount is less than your total purchase balance, it may not affect your upcoming payment. Instead, you can anticipate a reduction in the number of payments, a smaller final payment, or a combination of both.

If the refunded amount exceeds your purchase balance, the surplus will be refunded to your original payment method within 3-10 business days.
